Okay, I've been really bad about continuing this here at my journal but this is why I wasn't meant to lead! I am meant to follow. Granted, a follower who doesn't take instruction but a follower, nonetheless

We have the video game music conversation a lot in my house; the boys tend to have playlists of the soundtracks running at all times of the day and night. They went to a symphony performance of game music last year and came back even more stoked about hearing it live and in an acoustically good space.

A performance would be PURE DELIGHT! Wow! How cool! I follow a lot of people on YouTube who play "classical" productions of the music but getting to hear it done up right in a concert hall is awesome!

I think it's music that is really well done. Since I don't play many video games, I don't have any preconceived ideas what I should be feeling and can just enjoy the music for what it brings to the table. It's nice that it can touch people who are familiar with it and those who aren't.
