The 12 in 12 challenge

Dec 25, 2012 20:03

Okay, so I'm going to do the 12 in 12 challenge at Library Thing. I most definitely want to concentrate my reading list this year so that I'm not staring at my bookshelves for days at a time between books.

These are the categories I've decided on this year:
1. Historical Data Comes in Handy (history ( Read more... )

I love reading challenges and I definitely want to do some of these in 2012. This challenge kinda seems to broad for me, though... *ponders* I wouldn't know which categories to pick!

It took me a couple days to come up with my categories. I had an idea of some of my books that I wanted to read so I used that to help me figure out what to use.

I love Illona Daniels! Their Kate Daniels series is a whole lot of fun.

God I need to start reading full-length novels again. *peruses list*

If you like Kate Daniels, have you read the Edge novels? The second novel, Bayou Moon, is SO GOOD!

Also, if you haven't already, check out Patricia Briggs. The Mercy Thompson series is good but the Alpha & Omega stuff is FANTASTIC!

Weirdly I couldn't get into the first edge novel when I've literally devoured all the rest, but other than that, yes. I loved Bayou Moon.

The whole idea of Alpha and Omegas makes me side-eye, but maybe I'm prejudiced by bad fanfiction. Will have to check it out.

This is alpha & omegas, wolf style. It's still about dominance but it's more about the order in the pack.
