Nice. There's something a little chaos-theory about the arithmancy here; I like it. Lovely use of atmosphere, too.

Thanks! It is very chaos-theory but it was the only thing my very un-magic comprehending brain could make of Arithmancy so I fudged.

I liked the way you have Marlene have a skill that went beyond mere fighting. Fighting is important but it isn't the only thing. I think there would have been others skills in the Order and Marlene's fits perfectly. I loved her magical mathmatics. I really appreciated the relationship she had with Alice and Alice's with Frank.

Yeah, I figured Dumbledore was too smart to have a bunch of warriors! It's been a challenge to find different ways of being useful and I like this particular trait of Marlene's.

I'm glad you liked it! It was written very quickly so I could make the challenge deadline so I'm still processing how I feel about it.

Very nice. I like the idea that one of the Order members has some special talent that was never mentioned. Also that Divination/Seeing isn't just for Trelawneys.

I think the Order is a treasure trove of undiscovered talents and stories just waiting to be mined! *grins* Harry gets the barest of information about them just so to satisfy the plot but that doesn't mean we can't use the toys in this wonderful playground! That is the one thing I love about JKR... she left us plenty of shadows to play with!
