After all the performance of downloading the awful Yahoo IM, I'm going to delete it and use the brand new shiny LJ Talk as announced in News. I've just installed it and you're all there as if by magic! There's loads of new styles too - a rather good month's news ( Read more... )

I added it to my Gaim config. Gaim is a chat tool that lets me be online simultaneously on Yahoo, LJtalk, AIM and MSN. And it's free and open-source.

That's clever....I've been through a few chat things, but never use them as nobody I know seems to use one. So then I get bored of all the pop up crap and delete them! I'll have a look at Gaim.
