I really want to like Jacob, but he makes it tough.
"I think I'm going to kiss you now" - really?
Man up, marine. Either take charge and kiss the girl, or be a gentleman and ask.
He's a strong character, just not a likeable one. Which is a roundabout way of saying he's well written.
Kara, otoh, grows on me every week.

I completely see his point there--I'd probably laugh too.

And scratching the scab until it bleeds is exactly the kind of thing that attracts too much doctor attention. NOT that I'd be any better of a patient myself. Not at all. :D
