AMD Build update

I still don't think much of the Asus M4A78T-E. One of the case fans (an old Scythe S-Flex) has a higher starting voltage than my noctua fans and won't start at the previous setting. I kinda wish we could get away from the whole video card concept. Mostly because how ridiculously huge they have become. They're basically full computer systems on a PCIe bus. How about just having an additional DIMM for video memory and another socket for GPUs. Though I suppose adding a 512-bit GDDR5 bus to every mainboard would be expensive (and wasteful).

A better idea might be to separate the video cards vertically. The last two or three inches is all dedicated to power conversion anyhow. Or how about we move all that circuitry (not to mention waste heat) into the PSU and run a 24-pin cable down to our more reasonably sized video cards.
