One of the scariest moments in my life happened last year in my AP European History class, I was looking through the freshmen history class work and one of them was a map of North America. They were supposed to label the countries. A quarter of them had the United States wrong. Another quarter of them had Canada mislabeled or Mexico labeled as Cuba.
