- Love the texture & coloring! Very dreamlike quality to the icon. Brilliant! - While I like the concept of this, I think the texture overpowers the focus of the icon. John and Teyla's silhouettes are almost abstract shapes on a background. - Very pretty. - Lovely colors and blending. It looks like a watercolor. - I love the faraway cropping because it's a bit dream-like; I also love how the figures blend into the blue mist. - [While the pastel colours are very appealing, I feel that the image quality has suffered as a result of the effect. The final silhouette-like shapes aren't quite interesting enough to hold the attention.]
- the overall color is pretty much the same and the text is weird and oversharp. - The colouring is too yellow - oversharp, mediocre text placement - [That typo does not fit the image and is seriously misplaced.] - The crop, coloring, and text are fairly plain comparatively, and the image has been oversharpened a bit. - The colouring is too yellow, and it's a bit over sharpened. - oversharpened; icon is too plain / colouring is not vibrant; text is pixellated and too plain. - Coloring is too orange-y-yellow and doesn't compliment the subject. The subject is dark enough to lose facial detail and the edge of her face looks a bit oversharpened. - It's sharpened too much. The text looks squeezed in, it leaves the icon unbalanced with too much negative space above the text.
*is relieved* I was sure my complete lack of icon mojo this week would do me in. *g* Comments for #5 please, although I'm pretty sure I know what they're going to say. Unscreened is fine. :)
Yikes! I totally zoned on the banners for challenge 8! Sorry! Must have still been in that post Shore Leave haze of squee. ;) I'll post them tomorrow evening, I promise.
- Not the best quality and I don't really like the washed-out colour. - Elizabeth's face is over-sharpened and the font seems a bit pixelated it would have been nice for the background to be textured rather than flat - Great coloring and use of tiny text. - decreased image quality; Elizabeth is washed out; tiny text is unnecessary.

- [the coloring makes them all look a bit sickly.]
- The icon is blurred and the coloring makes the team look oversaturated.
