Thanks! What's interesting to me is, yes, it's definitely dark, but there's also the Mac gamma vs. PC gamma--Macs save the .png a lot lighter than what shows up on a Windows machine, so I wonder if what I was seeing is vastly different than what everyone else was seeing! In any case, it was fun (and school starts next week, so um... relief? heh), and freneticfloetry, that Rodney icon is simply gorgeous!

I have a light/dark problem too. I found when I got a new monitor it got worse but then I calibrated my monitor and it helped some but not entirely. Difficult to know if you are seeing something different but I sometimes compare to our laptop.
- Great blending. - Colours! They're dark yet warm, perfectly describing Ronon's character. The icon is nice and sharp too, but not over-sharpened. - the colouring is amazing. looks like ronon is in some fog with strobe lights shining through. a very beautiful icon as a whole - I love Dex's ethereal glow. He looks so mystical and awesome...like he's more than SGA will let him become! *sob* - Really cool background effect! The coloring is really vibrant and beautiful too! - Beautiful coloring and clarity, especially considering the difficulty of this cap. I love the lighting, and the spot light effect. - fantastic use of colouring and light effects; the lights lead right to Ronon looking awesome.
