Inglourious Basterds, Nemi and a poster (my Name day presents)

Yesterday was my name day.

Swedes do not celebrate name days, and neither do I really. But, on the other hand, I’ve always enjoyed the presents!

My lovely boyfriend cooked for me the best lasagna ever and we cracked open the Chouffe Houblon we’ve been saving since Christmas, which was bloody DIVINE!!!

Happy Name Day! anonymous August 31 2009, 19:44:41 UTC
How lovely a day for you!

Adorable that the "batting" of your eyeleashes landed you a poster!

I also thought that "Marie Antoinette" was hit and miss. Though the soundtrack was wonderful, it didn't gel. I thought it was beautifully filmed, with beautiful costumes. But Dunst as the title role, should never have uttered a word, the film should have been done like a silent film to have been effective. I do not understand why people rave about Sofia Coppola being talented, every film I have seen of hers has either bored me or like in the case of "Lost in Translation" just annoyed me.

Now, keep batting those lashes and you'll get a puppy I bet!

I found Lost in Translation extremely funny. But, that was mostly because the film was like a documentary about Japanese culture and way of life. They are extremely weird people those Japanese hehe Very weird and kinda creepy. Yet funny and sometimes beautiful:) I find them rather interesting. So I enjoyed that part:)
Everything else in the story was just … there. If the same story with similar difficulties, would take place in Brazil, for example, then I would most definitely sleep all the way through it.

Hehe I’d rather believe that is my power to bring out the good nature out of people and not the batting of the lashes haha But my boyfriend is not convinced: p
