Excellent, I love the look at his military life, Dean wanting it, Sam protesting it, so perfect.

(And Sam would be stupid enough to sneek in through a window in broad daylight!)

Very nice; I like this look at the three of them -- the contrast between Dean and Sam, John trying to do his best by them without much clue as to what that would be.

This line was perfect: John knows Sam has a remarkable aptitude for lots of things, but he's pretty damn shocked to hear it from a schoolteacher. And then the last line came along and overwhelmed me.
