"Toxic" and "In the Beginning"
Here are my thoughts about this week's Smallville: Not a good episode (is it ever?) but so much shirtless Ollie it didn't even matter. AT ALL. Next week, Maxima.
Supernatural: Best. Retcon. Ever. Throughout the show, Sam and Dean's mom Mary has been shown only when she gets killed, an almost Christ-like figure, and then that one time where she kills the 'evil' that was living in their old house (that was a weird one), but in this episode (in which Dean is sent back in time to 1973) it turns out her whole family (dad Walter Skinner Samuel and mom Deanna) were all hunters. And she beat the crap out of Dean. Well, not really. But close. Castiel was in it a lot. Hmm...I think I need an icon of him...Anyway, no more spoilers. Go watch the episode. It's kinda hard to explain. Next week, monster ep. But shit hits the fan with the secret stuff Sam's been doing with Ruby (Basically, Castiel tells Dean to figure out what Sam's doing, stop him if necessary, or Castiel will. Probably ending with Sam being dead.)
Now that I am done with that, I have some other things to discuss.
I was watching 90210 with Mom tonight, btw sucks don't bother, but there's this guy on it who is ridiculously hot. He's a better-looking version of Tom Welling, not to mention younger. Did I mention hot? Now to be sketchy: http://www.imdb.com/name/nm2791615/
But...but...he's going to be in Hannah Montana the Movie...And there is no way in hell I am going to see it. Not even for hot guys who look like Superman.
At the school library, they have some comics which is cool except its mostly manga, and Sandman (and yes we know Sandman is awesome) but on the randomer side of things it also has the tpb Superman/Batman: Public Enemies. So, I was re-reading it and it was hilariously bad. I think I kept laughing out loud and bothering Emma...Seriously, it was blatantly slashy and SO STUPID it made no sense, the plot sucked and the characterization was worse. I do not get why Jeph Loeb gets work. Have you read the Ultimates 3? It sucks so hard. Go to scans_daily and try to find it. I'm feeling lazy and don't want to do it for you, deal. It's atrocious...But one thing in Public Enemies really bothered me. Most people wouldn't notice it, but I am a rabid huge Green Lantern fan and so, would. Basically, Pres. Luthor calls in a bunch of heroes to bring in Superman because Supes clearly made a huge asteroid of Kryptonite aim for Earth so he could destroy it (Mwaahahahaha, says Superman!). Yeah. Anywho, the heroes aren't that important except for two who should not under any circumstances get along, even to 'save the world': Green Lantern John Stewart and Major Force. Some of you out there are rolling your eyes, but I was ticked. Why the hell would Stewart not immediately attack, let alone fight beside, the freak who killed his friend's (and teammate, and fellow GL, etc) girlfriend? Not only killed her, stuffed her dead body in a refridgerator for him to find. And Stewart definitely knows about it. Of all the suckiness of this storyarc, this is pretty small, and I don't know if others noticed it at the time, but I certainly did. I wish writers would keep track of continuity...
If some of these sentences don't make sense, blame the SAT. My brain is still kinda fried. And it's almost midnight.
