Every time. You evoke these memories, the sensation of waiting, the way the theater itself holds its breath in anticipation, absorbing the emotions of the actors, and reflecting them back again.
I miss it, and you make me want to run out and see live theater (not easy in my area). I no longer want to be onstage myself in the same fashion, but your words make me think I need to set a story in the theater someday. :-)

Likewise, kiddo. And things are looking very iffy for me coming over to the UK as I'd hoped. We'll see. My dream would be to be able to watch you perform, but as I was saying to bluespirit_star the other day, if I do make it, I'll be there such a short time, it's going to be impossible to see everyone I want to see. (You should see the various permutations I've worked out on paper so far!)
