Iceland, baby!

Okay, some pictures of Iceland, as promised. Please be warned this is a fairly image-heavy post, obviously - I had an amazing time and these are some of my favourite pictures. :-)

You're more than welcome to come in and explore with me...

Great Scott. I am wowed by the beauty of such a place, but also your eye for color and composition--you should really think about photography as a sideline, missy!

These scenes really call to me. I hope I can see something like them some day. It's always been my dream to go to Alaska, and New Zealand, and the whole of the British Isles. You've just made me add Iceland to the list. :-)

Ha, I love my camera but I'm better with a pen in my hand - better still with a script. ;-)

I can't recommend Iceland highly enough - the country is stunning and the people are so welcoming and lovely. There's so much history there, it runs through everything like magic coursing through the veins of an entire country. It's wonderful.

I'd love to go to Alaska too. It's on my list. As is New Zealand (ever since LotR came out). Meet you there? ;-)

Big hugs, honey, and much love, as always.xx.

It sounds wonderful. *wistful sigh*

When I win the lottery, after I throw my huge Stargate party, I'll go to all the places on my world bucket list and take you with me. :-)

Oooh, and I'll make you the same deal. If I win, we'll travel the world too - and buy a big patch of land to recreate Rivendell to live in. *g*

Wow, everything is beautiful. From the street and the porch/inside lights shining to the street in the dusk that are ridiculously cute, to the volcano, geyser and northern lights that are simply breathtaking.

You're very very lucky to have seen that with your own eyes, and thank you a lot for sharing. :D

Oh, I loved it so much. I loved the lights - everywhere you go they take such pride in providing and warm and beautifully lit place for you to enter. The whole city is dotted with lights, it's stunning and so magical.

Thingvellir was really quite moving - a very beautiful area. So alive with history and spirit. Just incredible.
