Review: Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen

I finished "Pride and Prejudice" the last couple days. I liked it much better than "Sense and Sensibility." Things feel like they actually happened and there was much more character development going on. I looked up the dates and "Pride and Prejudice" was published two years later. I did notice a dif between the two, as well. I think I read P&P first, and so was mainly happy just to be reading more Austin when I read S&S next. I think I found the latter to be a bit more feminine - ? - and the former to be more dramatic, like Wuthering Heights, or something.

Mud is probably a good thing, where you live.

S&S felt more reserved, which I'm not sure is an entirely feminine trait, but it was certainly less dramatic than P&P. Less happens, both in physical action and character development.

Moisture is a good thing, but mud is always a bit obnoxious regardless of location.
