I got pictures of Talon's feet. She did her first official lesson today and did pretty well. I definitely still need to do rides between to keep her tuned up.
Dang look at those frogs! I wish we could grow frogs like those here but it's just so wet that they disentegrate every winter. It looks like Talon might have some central suculus thrush in the fronts. Good job trimming! The only thing I think I would've done differently was bevel the wall a little bit where it meets the ground but that is much easier to do when you have a hoof stand.
Talon grows huge frogs and Zeke has his mom's feet I think! I have Cleantrax to soak Talon's feet in, just need the hour and a half to do it! Kitt and Chewy have had some thrushy frog issues. They could use a soak too. Kitt likes to stand in her wet ick (mostly pawing and standing in the wet spot under her waterer) and I finally ordered pea gravel to hopefully save her feet again and get her growing a good frog.
I so need a hoof stand. Putting in a bevel with a foot between your knees is not easy!
