Danielle had expressed a desire to see me work with more horses driving so I told her she could help me with one of our young ones on Thursday

I look forward to (at least ground) driving them as a team quite a bit this next year! I'm still learning team/pairs, but am not without experience. I will say it's a lot different driving two greenies than the old ladies who have been there, done that!
Multiples are a kick. I've done teams/pairs (farm/performance lingo), three and four abreast, briefly four-up, and have toyed with tandem on the ground. If you get the chance try it!
I did actually get a chance to (briefly) drive a team of six Clydesdales in Maine when I was growing up, but they were beyond well broke and probably didn't even need a human on the end of the lines. I do a lot of ground driving and have driven a lot of SINGLE horses over the years, but I'd need to be taught how to teach greenies to work in a team (or to properly drive more than one horse in more than a straight line!) It's definitely something I'd LOVE to learn more about. In fact, if I ever get a real job (ha) that would probably be the next horse sport I'd want to get seriously involved in.
After having my hands on a Hackney roadster I can imagine driving Standardbreds in a sulky is its own unique experience as well it is again worlds from the farm draft, which is different from a pleasure horse and one trained for CDEs, and of course singles are certainly different from multiples, but not quite as hard with the actual driving as it is getting the equipment set properly!
If you get the chance jump on it! And if you're ever in Arizona you know who to tap for some driving experience!
