This morning started out a little exciting. I took Royal out by himself and left Molly in their turnout, which is probably close to a third or half an acre. He walked off the property perfectly fine. Last week he got a little mentally stuck right before the gate and then was a little extra forward, but not terrible with one other sticky spot.

He was slightly less dramatic today, but I kept my feet on the ground until we returned "home" and did a brief figure eight at the walk and called it good. He also probably trotted three or four miles while I barely walked one! I'll take the improvement and build from there!

Oh man, silly horse! I hate rearing. That's my least favorite. I'm glad you are ok. Hope the ride today was better!

Yeah, rearing isn't my favorite either. It's not bad to sit, but if they get carried away it's terrible for both rider and horse!

He was still a little silly, but came down much quicker and had less theatrics. I didn't climb on him until we got back to his home base, but we'll build from there! I imagine if his girlfriend wasn't losing her mind he wouldn't have nearly so much of an issue.
