Yesterday we hooked up Kitt again, this time with the shafts rotated upside down. I'm sure there is some driver out there who might have a coronary about that, but the enclosed shafts let us cheat like that. It put the cart level and I could actually put the shaft loops on the backband rings rather than my usual jury-rigging with carabiners *

Aww! How cute that he's driving! I love the look of that cart. So glad you got to upgrade.

Almost too cute for words! He also says "Walk on" and "whoa" as well as kissing to her. I'm hoping this keeps up, I'll need a driving buddy when Chris gets back to work again.

I am too! It's a sharp looking vehicle. It would have happened eventually and for the cart possibly in the next year, but the carriage would have been a long time coming and being able to save on shipping by getting both at once was great.

Wonderful! I love how much your boys enjoy driving the horses. The cart looks really comfy and it seems like it gives you a good view.
