After Jacobs uveitis, I'll admit to being a little squiggy about eye issues. His has been painfully expensive to treat in trying to save his vision, the reality is, he's mostly blind now and I probably should post an update on that. I'll keep my fingers crossed for Mac, he seems like a wonderful little guy!

Uveitis is certainly nothing to sneeze at! I'm reasonably sure that the lumps are past trauma, be it fly-induced or otherwise.

Thanks! Hoping the gamble pays off.

Wow. Those eyes. We don't have a lot of eye issues up here with it being so humid and cool. I hope his surgeries go smoothly. It's good of you to see past that at his good qualities. I hope he turns out to be one of your great horses.

They look worse if you're trying to keep them pried open! He was a really good sport about it all things considered.

I've had the occasional blocked tear duct with mine and Hershey, my mom's Rocky, is prone to the occasional bout of conjunctivitis, but I think the breed is more prone to eye issues too. Overall we don't have much issue with their eyes, but we're also pretty good about keeping them masked and sprayed.

Thanks, I hope he turns out well too!
