Thursday I got the base color done on the mountains. Or as I called it: Mountains Phase One.

I LOVE the mountains! First I was like "meh" then I saw the second picture with the blue/green/teal and freaked out. It looks great!

I was pretty "meh" on the mountains to start too, but am pretty pleased with how they pulled together by adding the green (ish).

Thanks! I had my doubts as I was working on it and now it's hoping it continues to look better as I add the snow and bare rock sections.

They are definitelt about the process of the painting over the end result! I think he rather enjoyed himself.

Tru-D is coming along nicely. I hope to have her pulling by the end of the year.
