Last week Chris went with me to work Bud Wednesday. I didn't realize how nervous Chris had gotten driving, but I don't think we've hitched up one of ours since the Sedona trip in March. We had an open stock trailer come up behind us, which made Bud a little nervous, but he did really well. Chris was less chill about it, but survived. We trotted

Hope it's nothing serious with Tru-D!
I haven't heard of the Balance Ride saddles before. I Googled them to look, but then realised they were Western and I don't know enough about Western saddles to tell the difference (although I could tell that the stirrups were further forward than usual). It sounds extremely uncomfortable on the thighs, though!!

Tru-D is moving better today. Not 100% yet, but the vet said that could take a week to 10 days after being stomped on my a horse who is almost double her size (Charm-N is close to 1700lbs). No noticable swelling, didn't care yesterday when I palpated it hard and we don't have her on any painkillers now. I might lunge her briefly tomorrow to check her movement.
I think there are some rare people whose conformation magically jives with it, but I am obviously not one of those people!

She has definitely grown! She doesn't look like much of a baby most of the time, especially standing next to Kash! She has a lovely movement too and shows some good potential.
