aside, ever since I was a young tot, I always liked the ribbon edged blankets and finding the 'cool smooth' feel of them. Having a big one on my bed, I'd often reach down to the side where it wasn't warmed up by my body heat just to feel the coolness of it. To this day, I'll find myself running my fingers over the edges. Not sure if he has a big bed blanket like that or not, but showing him that the parts -away- from him are 'cool' too can help too :) it's a weird strange comfort, so I totally get your child there

The feely blankets are about 12" square, one side a fuzzy fabric and the other silky with about four to six ribbon loops sewn into each side. Nice and portable and apparently perfect for wrapping an ice-pack in for hours of cool comfort. We'll see if pointing other parts of his bed can be cool helps any.

I remember rolling around looking for cool spots in bed. Of course Chris likes the house pretty cool at night so I've shifted to seeking the warm spots most of the time!
