Open House

So I e-mailed a bit with the lady who is in charge of the private school and she invited me out to their Open House last night. ...I want to be a kid again and move to America. Just what you're offering are awesome classes, I imagine there must be many more great things to learn. Horsemanship classes? At school? <3 <3

This is seriously cool and I look forward to following your progress with it! I bet it will be really fun to teach.

Also, I've just realised: are you in Arizona? I'm coming to Arizona! Ben and I are riding with Harry Whitney for a week in November, then heading on up towards the Grand Canyon (maaaaybe finding some mules on the way) and then across to visit my Great Aunt in California.

Hahan I know, right? There's this movement of "alternative" education here. There's always been the occasional private and religious school, but we also have charter schools sprouting like weeds, which get money from the state, online public schools, correspondence, and homeschooling, which has come a long way in the last decade or more.

I am hoping so! We'll see how much I change it all after the first run-through!

Yes I am, south/centralish about 50 miles southeast of Phoenix. I looked up Harry Whitney as I hadn't heard of him. I'm about two and a half hours from Salome.

I think I have told you about him before, but have you checked out Steve Edwards? Queen Valley Mule Ranch is his home base and it's just a little bit farther than I am from the clinic.

Sounds like a fun trip!
