There are seven instructors currently who are officially certified in the Driving specialty through ARIA in the whole USA. I would make eight. A little over a week and a half. Wish me luck

They started ARIA certification at UC Davis -right- after I stopped teaching, but it had a lot of excellent aspects to the program. Definitely sounds like driving is a rarity, but sounds like a great program, both for you to test yourself with, teach yourself more, as well as prove to anyone that you can do it :D
I think the only thing I would change about it would be better feedback on the essay tests. They just give you a number score and no other commentary. The video feedback is really nice, but there is not much other than numbers for the rest of it. I am OK with that on the tests that you take during the testing center as they are mostly multiple choice, matching, and short answer, but handing in eight or so pages of essay questions and only getting back a number score leaves me wanting.
It is very good at confirming one's knowledge and that's part of the reason I sought it out. I may be slightly ahead of the game in having an AAS, but that extra certification is nice to point at too!

It is very good at confirming one's knowledge and that's part of the reason I sought it out. I may be slightly ahead of the game in having an AAS, but that extra certification is nice to point at too!
