I'd like to know what your favorite restaurant is (and why, if you're so inclined).

It can be a chain or a local joint. Anywhere in the Lansing Metro area.

Sushi Moto, next to Meijer on Saginaw. Best sushi in town, and excellent miso soup, too.

If that's the place I'm thinking, it used to go under a different name. Midori. I was there under the last name but my friends aren't into that so I haven't been back sadly.

Yup, same place. I was never there when it was Midori, so I can't compare. I just know that I've heard that it was overpriced and mediocre. If that's even vaguely accurate, then Sushi Moto is a vast improvement.

Golden Harvest (breakfast is what I know best - their home fries are great, and I'm not even a potato-lover)
Cancun Mexican Grill (better than the runner-up, Los Tres Amigos, although both use tasty, authentic Mexican cheese)
Dalmatians Firehouse Grill (in my 'hood; great burgers)
Mama Bears (fantastic sandwiches; the bread is delightful)
Nip 'n' Sip (their onion rings are the best, and their grilled cheese is sinful)

Isn't Dalmatians closed? Everytime I drive by it, it doesn't look open.

Sansu! Most special occasions in my life are celebrated there.

I also go to Leo's Outpost a lot, but mostly because its really close to my house. It does have great specials though!

Also, Sparty's Coney Island in Frandor for the best coney dogs.
