I interviewed Elizabeth Moon this morning and will be writing up a story about this affair for my Sunday paper. It will then be available via the Associated Press.

Did we mention that for Moon's side of the story s/he interviewed Moon, and for everything else: "There's plenty of opinion spewing on the internet, there's plenty of places to quote from."

Yeah.

But it's OK, because s/he's a professional journalist and "She knew I would ask intelligent questions, not interrupt her, and not have any hidden agenda."

I am experiencing about ninety kinds of rage based on that line alone.

Oh, yeah. It's going to suck rocks. Another "Moon Is Martyred" piece, only this time it'll get national coverage. I suppose we can hope AP won't pick it up, but otherwise...yeah. Hot mess.
