Lazy, lazy Sunday

I spent the day re-writing age old chapters of "Incomplete" to try and make it stomach-able. Is it bad that I actually cringe reading some of the stuff I wrote for that fic?

Well, here's hoping the shaved down version proves to be a smoother and more enjoyable read. It's nearly done... well at least in my mind anyway. The early chapters are my real ( Read more... )

updates, fanfiction, incomplete

I have been faithful in my promise to not read that story until you revise it, but I just wanted to tell you - its hard, LOL! I'm glad to hear you're still working on it, even though you've left Dokuga. Are you posting the chapters as you do them, or are you waiting to post the completed version? I'm trying to decide if its worth the torture to read as you go along ;)

Your bento looks delish! :D I'm jealous of your creative rice-ball-forming skillz, LOL.

I've been posting them up on FF.net as I go, but please please please wait until I've finished with the other chapters.

I'm not just tweaking grammar, I'm cutting out whole scenes, adding new ones in, and basically doing a huge shake down. I'd hate for you to get a few chapters in and be like WTF? when some plot holes I haven't had the chance to fill yet crop up. ;)

Trust me, as soon as I'm finished the first thing I'm going to do is sent you an email. Promise!

The rice ball was super easy! Just use saran wrap! You put some rice in and squish it down with your hands and then twist the excess to make it into a nice ball shape. Easy as that :) Apparently you can also freeze rice too (I had no idea). My mornings just got a WHOLE lot easier!

LOL, okay, I'll keep my hands off...for now ;) I trust you to write (rewrite?) a good story, and I want to savor it as you intended, hehe.

I have very warm hands, though, so even rolling chilled cookie dough leads to tragedy for me, hehe. But actually getting its shape right would be the least of my problems - making the cute faces would probably drive me insane, haha!

I'm glad to hear you're enjoying yourself over there, though. Its an amazing experience, no? :)

Well the rice is warm anyway so it's no problem if you use the saran wrap. Never try to make rice balls bare handed. That:s just asking for trouble hahahaha. Anyway, the faces are super easy! You can buy nori hole punchers here for pretty cheap that have all different kinds of faces. I can totally send you one if you want :)
