Well, I was born in former Soviet Union where main language was Russian. The place where I was born now it in Ukraine. I heard Ukrainian and used a little and learned at school. When we moved to Israel I had to study Hebrew and English I studied at school. During last school years I started to learn Italian from autodidactic manuals.

I see. Here in Germany I only learn English and French and I can speak a little Dutch because I live very close to the Netherlands.
By the way, Dmitry is a wonderful name :)

Dutch is very interesting language. It seems like English and German were mixed and a new language was made.
The name Dmitry comes from the name of Demetra - Greek goddess of agriculture.
