Title: Sage Advice
Series: None; one-shot
Rating: G
Characters: Ireen Wüst
Pairing: various; unmentioned
Disclaimer: All made up.
Word Count: 100
Notes: Elections broke my brain, trufax. femslash100’s weekly challenge #240 (“remainder”), for which I used #231 Messagefemslash100’s 2010 Tarot Challenge 09, The Hermit.
Summary: It also helped that she was at the center of the rumor mill.

She still wasn’t exactly certain how she’d come to be in this situation. It seemed that by popular decree, she had been deemed the resident relationship advisor (slash sounding board) regardless of any expertise (she wasn’t even sure) she possessed when it came to relationships she wasn’t personally involved in.

But, whatever, she enjoyed helping people. And if she could help; all for the minimal expense of lending an ear and offering her apparently highly-valued opinion, she was more than happy to. Especially the new kids (god, “new kids”, she felt old and she wasn’t even thirty yet), who needed some sorting out, and girls-advice-for-girls or boys-advice-for-boys.

challenge: femslash100 tarot (2010), challenge: femslash100, claim: speed skating, pairing: various, word count: drabble-length, ireen wüst, rating: g
