Barium sulfate suspension = the worst "smoothie" i've ever had in my life. what's even worse than that? that i have to drink another one of those in the morning. the artificial banana flavouring so isn't helping any. *gaggagag ( Read more... )

are you having a catscan? what's going on with leina? i have to go through that experience about once a year. the banana is better than the orange and cream, but i always end up with the stupid orange crap.

there is, by the way a worse "hospital makes you drink it" drink. its rather like the barium sulfate but really bitter and gritty too. and you have to drink tons of it. for one of the GI tests i needed done.

dude 10 yarn stores in a day! how did you keep track? were you taking notes all day?

those pics were my notes!

yep getting a ct scan. i supposedly have two hernias. ah shit, i have to drink that other milkshake now. okay, thank goodness, i didn't get the orangesicle flavour. *gags*

when they mix barium with metamucil and flavour it with artificial coconut flavour and i get stuck drinking it, i will die.

aww, sweetie pie! sorry about your guts. at least the test itself isn't that bad. just the gunk you have to drink. hold your nose, drink fast. *big hugs*

my old roomates both had hernias and they were pretty easy fixes. how the heck did you get hernias, girl!

i think it all started in december when i was really sick. my coughing got so bad, a spot on my pelvis would sting every time i coughed. it's good to know from everybody i've mentioned this to that hernia surgery is pretty much a routine one.

that iodine shot was weird!!!
