Hikago Deathmatch + Life

Jul 26, 2012 18:18

For anyone who's missed the competition, although I think most of the people who would be interested on my f-list are also participating, I'm taking party in DW's Hikago Deathmatch. Round one works can be found here. I... will avoid commenting on the fics for the moment ( Read more... )

You at least showed which Deathmatch group you're not in. :p

Good luck on your bar exam! Although, since it's afterward, it's not luck anymore, is it?

LOL. Maybe I'm just trying to mislead you all. But I've edited to remove any question.

And thanks! I think it's still luck, since that's mostly the reason that anyone passes. That, or miracles. Y'know. XD

Best of luck with your exams!

I've just got through the first battery of accounting exams so believe me I sympathise. Very painful having such a long wait but I suppose it's at least long enough you can put it out of your mind for a bit? (I feel like a hypocrite saying that).

Also congratulations on work. What are you up to?

Also, UK. I am in the UK, specifically London. Let me know if you do make it over. Other than that, Edinburgh is great, and I had a lot of fun in Barcelona.

Thanks!

Eeek - accounting exams! Interestingly, the place where I took the bar was the same as the place where my dad took the accounting exams here. Such is life? And I'll try, lol. No need to feel like a hypocrite, since that's my usual advice, too.

Lawyerly-ness. XD It's a bit weird that you can get a job as a lawyer before the board actually certifies you as one, but that's been the practice for a bajillion years, so we're stuck with it now. I'm going to be working for a firm in NYC, though, so I'm pretty stoked. (Assuming I don't fail the bar and get fired. X_X)

And I will!!! Because we should totally meet up if we're in the same local! =D

(Takes three years min to do the accounting qualifications - and they need somebody to stoke the photocopier in the meantime...)

New York is very cool. Congratulations

(That sounds.... impressively tedious. Do they let you speed up the time based on your degree?)

Also, it's home. =D Thanks!
