I think it's just a teenager thing...
I wasn't bad when I was 12... it took me until I was 16 and 17, but now days, younger kids are getting crazier and crazier about not listening to parents, and sneaking around...
Where was she actually?Because that could be part of it... Just didn't want to get into trouble for doing somethign she -really- wanted to do that may not have been okay with her mom/you/whoever else.

She says she was just walking around because she was bored... but who can really believe what she says... she changes it every 5 minutes. She's not bad either, which I think makes it even worse. She is a good kid that did a bad thing.

i'm 17, so i remember quite well how it is to be a kid. actually, i still am a teenager and still struggling with the everlasting issues.
and i believe you're absolutely right. i still tell my parents where i go, so that they more or less know. when i was 12 i told exactly where i was going. and never without their permission. it's just about safety.
i never made too much discipline problems, and i believe rebels should be done against nonsense rules/prohibitions, which this issue is not. (conclusion? you're 100% right)

i think, maybe if you just told Gissela how important it is and how you're worried and all that should be said (if you haven't done it already), she would give a little thought to it?

Thank you for your view. I agree with you about talking to her. We did have a talk with her about that exact same thing. I guess time will only tell if it got through to her.
