I was *so* happy with myself for having not driven my car for 4 days. *So* happy and *so* not even giving the damn thing any thought that I forgot to fucking move it today between noon and 2 for street cleaning. $50 ticket. I was walking out to get my sunglasses before I went out to meet a friend and called my mom to tell her how proud of myself

Haha, I hate that. Last November, I got THREE fucking tickets because they do street cleaning on each side of the street twice a month at 7am... which means there are 4 days a month where some side of the street is illegal, and with my luck (even though I leave at 7:30am), I got THREE tickets. Ugh. Welcome to california!
