Trouble with Kanji

I'm hoping to become decent at translating from Japanese. I already know katakana, hiragana, and some kanji. My problem is that many kanji I am completely clueless about AND since manga/doujin's kanji are not copyable, it is difficult to find their meaning. Please reply if you have a mehtod of discovering what certain kanji mean without resorting ( Read more... )

try finding a dictionary which categorizes them into radicals.

what did you mean by "all over 500 of the kanji"? It is almost 40.000 kanji in Japanese. I've been learning Japanese for 5 years and it is really difficult to keep kanji in your memory. I think that first of all you should study how to write the kanji the right way. Each hieroglyph has the "Keys", you can break each into the keys and find this key in the dictionary.
