jacked from parallelgirl & dandelionwhine. i'm to bold the ones i've read. i'm curious as to why Roots is never on any of these lists, or Uncle Tom's Cabin. and no Shakespeare, although i suppose that's because he wrote plays, not novels. so duh, Lana. i'd think My Antonia should be there, too. but then, i'm no librarian. and wth no Anne of Green Gables?! sacrilege. but i ( Read more... )

i think it's a whack list. i'm doing one of my own: books anita thinks you should read in order to be human. it takes a lot of work to come up with these things though. i've been working on mine since last summer....

but there would be very few "hard" books on my list. it will be mostly stuff that makes you think and/or feel.

i'm very slow when it comes to making lists. cuz i like to make them perfect.

I recommend "The Alchemist." It's a pretty quick read. Others as well, but that's a goody.
