Herbs would be fun. I got an herb-growing kit with little terracotta pots one Christmas, and they didn't quite flourish like they were supposed to. I suspect my green thumb requires a bit of fine-tuning. Our backyard has been a bit neglected due to lack of free time, and it really needs quite the overhaul. I think I hear you re: the psycho squirrels. We have rabbits with voracious appetites, but at least no one encourages them. A little cayenne pepper sometimes does the trick - don't tell PETA. If I get the whole thing done and growing, I promise I'll share my zucchini with you.

Giada's recipes rule. I haven't tried that one yet, but I think I may have to. As for the garden, tomatoes and sunflowers are very easy to grow. Peppers also do well. At least in SoCal. I have this jalapeno plant that has been in my garden for the last four years and it's still going strong.

Easy A was cute and fun, I loved her parents in that movie, and I used to like Emma Stone, but I know someone who was an extra on that film and he totally ruined her for me by what he said about her behaviour and stuff. :/
