Virtue/Moir did an excellent job, it was the best I have ever seen them skate, and they did everything perfectly. I still love Davis/White I wish it had been closer.I hope they all keep training together though it seems to be good for both pairs :) I can't believe the Russians have done so poorly in skating these last few years, in all the disciplines. Though I think it's good for the sport to have more diverse competitors at such a high level. it makes every body better. So who do you like for women"s?

PS Did you hear about J. Rochette? I know she is still skating, and I think that just takes so much courage and discipline. I hope she is able to do her best but i think she deserves a standing ovation just for still competing. I know I wouldn't have the strength to do it. I just want to hug her. My heart really goes out to her. I know she has a chance at the podium because both Ando and Asada (?) are not consistent. I hope all goes well for her. I don't really think the US ladies are quite good enough to challenge for medals this

I think it's so cute that Virtue/Moir and Davis/White train together. They seem to be good friends even though they are competitors, which is nice to see. I am really just a casual viewer, but of course I am biased toward the Canadians. Hehe.

I just read about J. Rochette. :( I don't think I would be able to go out there and skate after such a loss. That takes a lot of inner strength. Wow.

Well you can be biased the Canadians were darn good.:) By all accounts the two teams are friendly and the rivalry is all in fun.

I am really rooting Rochette, poor thing.

I was very much OK with them winning, but I'm still befuddled that the Russians placed third.
