I read the Beauty Myth in University as part of my Women and Mental Health course.
Also-I want to read the incurable optimist soon.

The Beauty Myth is one of those books I wish I'd known about in high school.

I've heard good things about Incurable Optimist, and I've really been in the mood for that kind of book lately - something optimistic.

Audrey Hepburn and Grace Kelly, will forever remain in my mind at the ultimate eptimone of beauty.

I remember seeing Gracy Kelly in a film as a little girl and thinking she must be an angel :D and Audrey Hepburn's personality actually outshone her beauty. I remember reading a speech of her given at an event where she was asked for her beauty regime, and her words have stuck with me.
For attractive lips, Speak words of kindness ( ... )

No worries about long and rambly comments. I ♥ Audrey too. I remember reading that quote, or maybe just part of it, in the bio her son wrote. I often wish there were more role models like her for young women in the world today, rather than the Paris Hiltons and such.

It's delightfully raunchy. I think Shakespeare would approve.
