It actually has been quite bloody. I went into surgery today, and I remember the time in the recovery room as 12:30? Something like that. I assume it was 12:15 when I got out of surgery. I put myself on the gurney and all that like before. Just I don't remember taking note of time until then ( Read more... )

Feel better soon lass! The only bright side really can be the limited dopiness brought on by the pain pills. Eventually though you are going to sleep the best sleep ever (ask my friend Tina, she had it done too). And you haven't even seen your beautiful bruises really show up yet! You are going to look like someone took a swing at you on every street corner you ever walked on. All the best again and just know that there are many people thinking about you in the shower... because of your soap :)

Thanks Si. Funny you said that. Someone just said they found a bag of sample bars I gave him a while ago and thought of me in the shower. And not just in that way, apparently.

I could use a milkshake right now. I actually feel a bit shaky and nauseous. I think it's the hangover from the painkillers. I just don't get along with them.

Thanks. In some ways its harder than the other surgery because it's all in my head (hahahaha!). I really deal well with pain. It doesn't bother me in that I can ignore it after a while, but I've always hated headaches and not being able to breathe. Thank god I wasn't throwing up. With the pack up my nose I probably would have freaked out. I think most people don't react quite as badly to that as I do, considering the other guy left with his in. I just can't imagine that. I really can't. I was half panicking just lying in the bed. And I never panic. About anything.
