I find myself quite distracted by the lace attached to the chair in the first picture. Its not draped, it appears to be fixed to the upholstery. I don't think I've ever seen that look before.

I think its pinned to it, probably using crystal headed upholstery pins. An old lady in my neighborhood pinned her lace anti-macasters like that. She could easily pull out the pins to wash them.

Both fabrics are wonderful, but I love the second one especially. And the hairstyles are so sweet!
