That's oftentimes the only way to know for damn sure that something is not for you. I'm glad you got it out of your system.

I couldn't help but be reminded of that infamous night in Childersberg. Among many other things said by everyone in attendance:

"I think I broke my nose."

"I need my phoooooonnnnnne!"

"I guess I'll stop drinking since I have to babysit. *sigh*"

"Here's a bowl."
*retch* "Uhhh, uhhhh, gahhhhd, this sux."

I don't really know if you remember (you may not have been present at the time), but one birthday when I lived up there, Wendy came over, and we shared a joint. It had absolutely no effect on me then, so I have no idea what the hell happened.

By the way, that last line couldn't have been me... Never... ~looks around shiftily~

One dialogue you forgot, though...

"Are you okay?"
"ugggghhhhhh....."
"He made a noise. I guess he's okay"
(or something similar to that)

That evening is definitely going into my memoirs.
