This semester, I have actually filled a complete schedual of 9 credit hours. Any more than this, and they have to hire me for real (not that that's likeley). That's four classes in two departments, all small hands-on audio lab classes in recording, MIDI sequencing, post production, and general audio engineering. We're actually playing THIS SATURDAY, the 21st. I'm not sure if we're going on second or third, but I'm guessing 3rd.

Congrats!

Question: Do you know where I can get a simple MIDI keyboard? I just want one for data entry, so it doesn't need anything other than some keys and MIDI, as far as I care. Can you get them used anywhere? And how much do you think that'd run?

And speaking of the band, Wendy and I had a great time at your show at the Hi-Pointe! I'll be out of town for the next couple, but Josh and I will come out and see you sometime soon!

Apart from places like Guitar Center, there're always pawn shops. Some of the cheapo Yamaha'a and Casios you see at Best Buy and such now have basic MIDI I/O as well. Also check out Musician's Friend and Sweetwater, two reputable online/mail-order vendors. Unleash your inner composer, Mr. P!
