I am so deleriously happy to see more of this, even though I am left pondering such topics as whether Thayet and the kids were successfully executed, whether Jon's going to marry the other woman, if/how they can defeat Ozorne, etc. etc. Love the Gary/Cythera (you had to know that was coming) and I LOVE the scene in part one where Jon talks to all of Tortall through the tower. Was that scene in the original chapter one? I don't remember it.

I am deliriously happy to be wriring it. I sincerely enjoy this story and its many sub-plots.

The Dominion Jewel scene was in the original. I probably won't be focussing on Gary and Cyth much in future chapters, but then again, one of my aims with this fic is to try and show a comprehensive view of the different people in Tortall and, to a lesser extent, Carthak. So they might crop up again.

I'm glad you're intrigued, and hopefully the future chapters will answer all questions. Eventually. *Cackle*

Thank you. For some reason Chapter 1 and the directory are not showing up in the RSS feed. Are they backdated or something?

Yeah. One reason I made this a journal and not a community is because I didn't want to flood people's friends-pages with several consecutive chapters of the same fic.

It's a good thing I actually looked in the Plug It forum for a change.

This was really, really good, I have to say. The subplots and plots are interesting, and the overarching concept of this particular A/U. The Gary/Cythera was love, of course, and Thayet's deed was particularly IC.

I hope there isn't another long hiatus before the next chapter, or I'm just going to pine away.
