I have a default setting of Friends Only on my LJ, but I unlock certain posts...it's all very confusing and it's something I struggle with: what am I comfortable/safe with my coworkers or my family knowing, and what is strictly reserved for, say, fandom?
Does the internet explosion of non-privacy force us to create truly walled-off separate identities? I wonder about that a lot.
Hi, this is going to sound a little strange, but I thought it would be worth a shot. I was looking up a 2004 show on Goggle called Hawaii with Eric Balfour and Ivan Sergei and it had this post in the search engine. I was wondering if you ever found a place to DL the show and would you be willing to share it if you have it? I've been looking for the show for years and can't seem to find it anywhere, which is really unusual for the internet where it seems that you can find almost anything. :)
Oh man, talk about a blast from the past! I loved Hawaii! Alas, I never found a source for download. I kept hoping maybe it would appear on Hulu, or a DVD box set.
I found this link to DVDs : http://www.buysellcommunity.com/sale/RLAEAQSY/ Which looks to be pirate-made, but as far as my own google-fu can tell me, there isn't a torrent around for the show.
No, never shopped there personally. It seems like a marriage between CraigsList and Ebay. The seller of the items has lots of DVD sets for sale for all different series- some of them issued on DVD (like I saw Season 1 of Justified there).
And the site itself has fraud protection tips, and links to reporting fraudulent transactions.
