Thanks for the offer! I did the banner post just before I went to bed last night but when I got up the banner was working. It was probably my computer.

I'm still trying to decide if I want to put everyone through my less than stellar writing skills but either way I can't wait for this!

oh, tinypic was apparently down for a bit last night, that was probably the issue!

you should definitely write! everyone has to start somewhere, right?

Hey bb, just a quick comment. When you use a text box, I'm pretty sure you don't need to add asterisks to stop the code from becoming the actual thing, if you know what I mean? I've created html templates for ppl to c/p using text boxs and it should be fine with the proper code :) <3

Gorgeous banners by the way, will figure out a place to promote the challenge, maybe on AFL for starters. x

i tested it in my journal, and i got a banner in a little rscrolly box if i left the * out actually!

Really? That's so weird. Ummm, wonder why it's doing that then :p Unless my text box code is different - sometimes it includes code that enables the code to display itself without actioning itself. I'll check after work :-)
