WOW. pandarus floored me when she announced she had recorded Defenders of the Realm. Says I, that would be nearly 58,000 words! I AM AMAZED. Please go and enjoy and feedback over here. This was on my short list of Big Bang stories I most want to read, so I am super happy that it's been recorded already! I've put it on a CD, and it will be accompanying my commute to work this week, yay!

Right. lamardeuse and pandarus, I am leaving you exactly the same comment on this matter because I have just finished listening to Defenders of the Realm, and I feel I cannot adequately express my love except via epic-length comment.

I hardly ever listen to podfics without reading the text of a story first--I've only ever done it with three or four stories, and only ever with two long works--this and, uh, The Jared Padalecki Untitled ProjectEr ( ... )

Wow. I mean, wow. Thank you so very much for this; please know that you've made my entire week (and possibly my month) with this lovely, generous feedback. I so appreciate it (and I have printed it out to reread on the ferry home, because I am just that chuffed). Seriously, thank you. And I agree - FayJay's reading is so amazing, and I'm very glad she was inspired to create the podfic.
