I'd been thinking about posting for a while now, but whenever I had some recs saved up, or thought about making some caps, I wouldn't get a chance to post, or some RL drama would happen, or I would have Things To Do, or, or, or. So this is a sadly fairly content-free post, but I will try to get something more coherent and/or interesting up soon

Oh my goodness. I remember when this happy crowd were filming in Beeston here in Nottingham (Second series I think) the locals loved it

I really love the way they come together as a group in the first series - it's much better than I thought it would be, with well-drawn characters and some real heart in with the comedy.

Yes they did. My Uncle told me he often saw the cast in one of his local pubs during their spare time.

Some scenes were shot around Caunton village, Notts and Redmile, Leics. Roundhill Primary School, Beeston, was used as the location for 'Walker Street Middle School'. Some scenes filmed in West Bridgford. The studio scenes were filmed at Central's tudios in Nottingham across the road from where I work
