Call me blind, but I do not believe this hashtag is a spoiler: LF is referring to the last series (chronologically), not the final one.

If he had used 'final', I would panic, but 'last' is likely to mean 'latest'.

Moreover, Lewis is typically filmed between June and October in Oxford, right? So he is probably talking about series 6 which he is reviewing in advance of it being aired later this month, not series 7 which ITV has already committed to.

I'm thinking he's referring to seeing Kev when they start shooting Series 7 next month, which would mean 7 is the last, but I like your world better. :)

I always, always assume the best case scenario! :D

Plus, in his shoes, I'd use the word 'last' too, in the sense of 'latest' - only marketing and PR people use the word 'latest'... and I used to be in that industry myself, so I do not mean this in a negative way.

I, too, think that he was referring to the "last season" as in chronologically the last one they filmed.
But yeah... season 7 could be the last if you want to interpret his comment that way.
