My feelings in GIFs.

Jan 16, 2012 12:07

While I don't have a Tumblr (and god, I do not need another social networking platform - I have too many as it is), I find it very helpful for illustrating my favourite parts of a show, especially Sherlock.

More spoilery thoughts about last night's ep )

cumberbatch is a posh boy and idgaf, sherlock bbc

Cumberbatch is gorgeous and immensely talented, and the article is sweet; I'm going to give the Make A Wish girl a LOT of slack over her memories of what she wrote because she had every reason to be in a whirl! <3

Because, quoted from the article by the Make A Wish girl:

He also talked about how the London riots delayed filming of some sherlock scenes and got talking about how the generations are just basically rioting for the luls to put it bluntly.

Um... no.

In my opinion (and only mine, YMMV) this is why I prefer not to learn too much about the actors behind my favorite characters.

Yeah, he's posh and a little out of touch with reality, what can I say. But he did a nice thing.

Absolutely! He was really sweet and fun. I never expect actors to be like the characters they play. That's why it's called acting! :)

He did do a nice thing. And your icon knocks me over.

I WHOLEHEARTEDLY APPROVE OF YOUR FEELINGS!
Word to everything.

Also: Marting Freeman is the first actor ever who makes me want to write a fangirl letter. It would go.
Dear Mr Freeman,

you ARE Dr. JOhn H. Watson.

Thank you!

Sincerely yours
Me

And thank YOU for braving Tumblr for me. I haven't yet dared to venture forth.

You're welcome! I only follow a couple of feeds through LJ, but of course things get reblogged all over, so I'm pretty current with the most awesome stuff.

Martin totally deserves that letter. THEY ALL DO.

yes, all of this. definitely high points of the episode. I found myself totally fascinated by this Moriarty, the obvious insanity was chilling. And seriously, Martin Freeman was extraordinary.

and thanks about that last story with BC, it was very nice of him to grant that girl's wish =D

She was obviously over the moon about it! It's nice to see he was able to make such a difference to her. :)

Martin and Benedict in that scene, man. I could easily watch that a hundred more times. That is LOVE.

What amazed me about last night was how I realised that the eps form one coherent arc across the series. They've perfected the 'series of three'; you can hold 3 eps in your head. And they had a theme of progressive undoing of Sherlock until last night he completely unravelled. Hoist by his own clue-detecting-ability gone metastasially wrong. The rooftop was such suspense.

I cried. I never cry at anything and I cried like a baby.

The Moffat and the Gatiss have made me cry at Who eps, but not this time, bastards. *shakes fist* I definitely had some tight chest moments, though. It may have been a minor heart attack, IDK.
